Titans are the 40k equivalent of mecha, and like everything else, they are ridiculously up-scaled, being more than a hundred feet tall (though this is never quite specified, of course).  There isn't a wealth of fiction on them, possibly because they're not exactly big sellers for the tabletop. Well, that book could learn a thing or two from Boneshaker.  Set in Seattle, in a setting that could very well have been Deadlands (mad science, the Civil War dragging on to 1879), this one definitely took the “punk” bit to heart.
